Trading Network

We have a long-standing relationship with major players in the fertilizers industry in Asia Pacific regions. Our company, considered one of the largest fertilizer traders in Indonesia, very active in exporting bulk and bagged urea to nearby markets such as : Malaysia, Vietnam, Taiwan, Philippine and Papua New Guinea. While on import side, we purchase MOP, TSP 36, NPK, and Rock phosphate from our trading partners in Russia, Middle East, and China for supplying local markets in Indonesia. PT. Bintang Baja Sinar Cemerlang's total volume transactions in fertilizers in 1998 was 300.000 Mton while in 1999 was 360.000 Mton and for year 2000, we expect to trade more than 400.000 Mton.

On Steel related products, we exports, CBI, Dry/Sponge Iron, and Oxide Fines mainly for Japan markets. As for Cement and Clinker, we trade these product in South Asia and West Africa markets. For chemical products, we are main exporter of Aluminium Sulphate to Papua New Guinea and Fiji Island for water treatment companies, and for Gypsum, we are importer of thai Gypsum for supply to cement factories and gypsum board makers in Indonesia.
